Overview
The Acer Aspire 5 pairs an Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with 8GB of RAM and a PCIe solid-state drive. Customers are interested in graphics performance So note the Core i5-1135G7 packs Intel’s Iris Xe graphics with 80 execution units and a maximum clock of 1.3GHz this is decent in this budget laptop. This isn’t Intel’s fastest integrated graphics option, but it’s a big leap up from Intel UHD graphics found in most 10th-Gen Intel Core hardware.
Display and Screen
Below is a 14-inch FHD IPS LCD display with a matte finish. The display feels sharp and the viewing angles are also good, but it gets slightly dimmer when looking from the top or bottom. Talking about the brightness of the laptop, it is not that high but it is enough for indoor use even in a bright environment. I do not have the necessary measuring device to show the brightness of the display in numbers, but during my usage, I find it comfortable for indoor use.

Performance
The Acer Aspire 5’s Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor promises decent performance at a low price Point. It has four cores, and eight threads and It has Intel’s Iris Xe graphics with 80 execution units which are good for this budget laptop. The laptop packs a healthy 8GB Ram.
Battery life
Acer Aspire 5 has a 53-watt-hour battery. This is a decent size for a budget laptop. However, our battery test, which loops a local video file until the battery gives out, reported only six hours and 35 minutes of endurance. That’s not a great result for this laptop.

Ports
Now coming to the I/O, the right side of the laptop has a 3.5 audio combo jack, and a USB 2.0 Type-A port. There is also a Kensington lock if you happen to use one. On the left, there is a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, an ethernet port (RJ45), and a DC power-in port. One of the USB Type-A also supports charging other devices even when the laptop is shut down.
